It's finally the last day of April. Are you all having a good weekend? I am going to Korea on vacation on May 3rd, so I think I should prepare to enter Korea, so I would like to post a blog for entering Korea.
In order to enter Korea easily and quickly, you need to enter Q-Code
What is Q-Code?
In the past, quarantine documents had to be written manually on the plane, but due to COVID-19, quarantine information now means entering a government site called Q code, filling in your quarantine information, and submitting the quarantine information to the quarantine officer.
So today, I would like to inform you how to write Q code.
1. Access to the Q-Code site
Access the quarantine site of a government agency called Q code.
Site: https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/
Click the circled one "Go"
2. Agree to the terms and conditions
If you're 14 years old or older, click 14 years old or older
Next, the bottom part
Click on "I agree to the terms and conditions of the quarantine information pre-entry system, the consent form for personal information collection and use, the guidance on the processing of unique identification information, and the consent form for sensitive information processing." :)
3. Enter passport number and email
Please enter your passport number and email on your passport like this.
4. Enter passport information
Please fill it out in the order shown on the front of your passport.
5. Enter entry and stay information
Where does the final departure country depart from (excluding transit areas) I wrote down the date when I finally arrive in Korea because I arrive the next morning after taking a layover from Singapore Airlines.
You can write down the address of the hotel if you stay at the hotel. And I wrote down my Malaysian mobile phone number because I don't have a Korean number.
And on the bottom part, I wrote down my family's phone number. If there is no phone number available in Korea, it doesn't matter if you write down the hotel phone number.
6. Enter health status
You must enter your health status in this column. Please write down your health status honestly ^^ I've been in Malaysia all along and I didn't have any symptoms of COVID-19
So, I selected Malaysia only. Also I ticked symptom doesn't exist and I made an empty for 2-1. Also, I don't make a contact with an animal and never visit the hospital. So, for me, it's not applicable. :) And Check what you have entered whether it's correct or not.
7. Download the QR code And submit to a quarantine agent
If you completed already, there will be what you have input with a QR code. You can download and get the QR code with your phone and submit it to the quarantine agent in Incheon airport.
