Hello.

Let me introduce myself

This is Stephen from South Korea. I have been living in Malaysia for five years till now.
While living in Malaysia, I have got so many questions, but the question I received most was why you chose to live in Malaysia. So, let me clarify why I am still living in Malaysia.

1. Cost of living

Cost of living in Malaysia is still quite reasonable, but I can't say that the thing is cheap. With the inflation effect around the world, Malaysia is also affected by global inflation. However, the cost of living in Malaysia is still considered cheap because unexpectedly, Malaysia is the country of origin for natural gas. Therefore, petrol is quite considered cheap as well. And I will show you my electricity bill and water bill later, and you can see that it's cheap as well.

This is the electricity bill I normally pay by monthly.

2. Friendly people

Malaysians are so friendly. Of course not all, but I don't feel like I am discriminated against by them. Whenever I go through hardship on the street, they always try to help me. I guess many foreigners will agree with my statement. Also the most positive thing about Malaysian people is they always smile and they are so humorous as well, and they are so respectful to Korean people. I love Malaysian people as much :)

My previous Malaysian colleagues prepared for this cake before I resigned. :D

3. Various job opportunity

If you are a Korean or non native Korean speaker, you will get a high chance to work in Malaysia with a high salary. I cannot exactly tell how much I get monthly, but I can tell more than 8500 MYR based on pre-tax on average.  Also, there is so much demand for Korean speakers in Malaysia, the opportunity is always open. It's worth working in Malaysia, I can obviously say. You will learn and obtain lots of things from Malaysian life.

As you can see, this is the market price for Korean speakers.

Those are the main reasons why I am living in Malaysia.

Thank you for reading ^^

Hope you like and subscribe to my blog. :)

Warmest Regards
Son Stephen
